Pinguicula ionantha

A bee landed on a flower and proceeded straight to the palate... and started to eat the palate hairs, as it appears. Considering the complex arrangement of a stigma and anthers of Pinguicula flowers, whether this bee will contribute to pollination is questionable. What is the function of a palate anyway? It must be some kind of a pollinator attractant for these zygomorphic flowers. I saw pollens (or powders) on the corolla lobes. Are these pollens of this flower, or pollens of some other unrelated flowers blooming nearby?
