In this Alabama population, even a slightly veined pitcher like this one is quite rare. A majority of the leaves are almost pure green. Is it because the pitchers are just freshly formed,  just being a few days old? Are they going to gain some more color in a week or so when the leaves stabilize and harden a bit?
