Cobra plant blossom in late May, northern California. The sheer seductiveness of the cobra plant flower. "Eyes" of the flower -- a circular hole formed by overlapping notches of the adjacent petals -- serve as an entrance into the corolla interior for the visiting pollinators seeking nectars.
